Finn Report on Motivational Toys - Everlasting Treat Toys

After observing how Finn has been working during our obedience training, it appears that more and more...this puppy is also toy motivated! Yippee! Now we can mix things up and not have to worry about getting him fat!

There is nothing more amusing than to see a dog offer his bag of tricks to you while also giving you a great big smile! Treats are great but at the same time, since we want a healthier and leaner dog, it's a relief to discover that Finn enjoys his toys even more with "play"! I found out this motivation when one day I saw how Finn quickly responded to commands and focused on me during our heeling exercises. So, here are some of the various toys Finn has tested after demonstrating to us he has been a clever dog!

Everlasting Fun Ball by Triple Crown (Green)

• Finn's Paws Up for: Kudos to Triple Crown for this ball and others to follow! With the fun ball, all we do is place a trail mix of small treats in the ball and Finn can keep himself entertained for a good hour or more depending on how hungry he is. I usually give this toy to him after our walks whenever I have to tend to something else - like preparing dinner or just taking a break! Finn has been successfully amused by this ball since he was 10 weeks old! It keeps him out of boredom! Now he even plays a game we call "Push it" in which he uses his nose to push the ball towards us and then we squeeze the ball until a treat comes out. Come-Sit-Down-Push it-Praise! It's been a great way to create a bond with him!
  

Everlasting Treat Ball by Triple Crown (Blue)

• Finn's Paws Up for: We've had this toy for over 11 months now and it still looks like it came out of the box! Another great ball in which we place a trail mix of small treats and fill each side with no salt organic creamy peanut butter or organic cream cheese. This has been a fantastic toy whenever we need to crate Finn while we're at work. Finn gets this toy as praise or reward for being a good dog and even just after his walks! Package comes with an extra refill, but we can create our own refill. BTW, did we tell you that these Everlasting toys are dishwasher safe and a puncture resistant?!!!
  

Everlasting Beanie Ball by Triple Crown (Orange)

• Finn's Paws Up for: These toys can get you hooked! We've started collecting! We fill it with no salt organic creamy peanut butter or cream cheese or sometimes a little portion of the Volhard NDF2 mixture. The unique thing about this toy is its half-ball shape which allows it to wobble and so it doesn't roll across our floor with Finn in high speed pursuit.
